Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Young-do), Department of Webtoon Design (Department Head Cha Byung-soo), held the "51st Webtoon Design Department Graduation Exhibition" from the 11th to the 13th at the lobby on the first floor of Seokdang Culture Hall.

This graduation exhibition was conducted in the form of a contest for department-specialized programs, part of the Junior College Innovation Support Project. It was held as a competition where individual and group works prepared for courses such as Webtoon Graphics, Web Design, Trend Design, Startup Contents, and Webtoon Brand were assigned anonymous numbers for judging. The event consisted of an exhibition displaying the works and sales of goods directly produced by the students.
Kim Il-hwan, a second-year student in the Webtoon Design Department, said, "Through this contest and graduation exhibition, I gained various professional knowledge about webtoons and design, and I plan to expand the scope of employment and career opportunities based on this event."
Cha Byung-soo, head of the Webtoon Design Department, said, "We provide opportunities to experience various webtoons and designs through a project-based educational approach," adding, "Together with the department professors, we are working hard to ensure students can effectively adapt to any design environment, including the webtoon field."
The Webtoon Design Department at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology was established in 1974 and has produced numerous talents in various design fields for over 50 years. The department aims to cultivate practical talents suited for the Fourth Industrial Revolution through education in basic drawing, color design, concept sketching, character design, webtoon 3D modeling, and more.
