Gwangju Dong-gu (District Mayor Lim Taek) announced on the 20th that it held the '2nd Healthy City Residents 100-Person Forum' on the 19th to promote the activation of a healthy city.

At this forum, the achievements of the integrated community support project for 'Creating a Healthy Village' were presented, and each community shared their project outcomes, difficulties, and solutions with residents.

In addition, the forum included a free discussion among residents on ways to promote 'Donggurang Health Gymnastics,' a customized health exercise program developed by Dong-gu for different life stages. Health gymnastics is an important factor for residents to manage their own health and to vitalize the local community.

Accordingly, participants engaged in in-depth discussions on ways to further promote Donggurang Health Gymnastics within their neighborhoods, and plans are in place to foster an atmosphere where residents take the initiative in practicing it next year.

Lim Taek, Mayor of Dong-gu, said, "The process of creating a healthy city in Dong-gu together with residents is very important," adding, "We will continue to operate various resident participation programs by utilizing the opinions generated through the collective intelligence of 100 people."
