Oh Se-hoon, Coffee Truck Event on Commute... "Grateful for the Passion of Seoul City Officials"

Achieved 1st Place in Public Institution Comprehensive Integrity Evaluation
"Thanks to the Efforts of Seoul City Employees"

Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon expressed his gratitude to the public officials on their way to work to celebrate Seoul's public institutions achieving first place in the comprehensive integrity evaluation and rising to 6th place in the global city comprehensive competitiveness index.

On the morning of the 20th, Mayor Oh met with commuting employees in the lobby on the first floor of Seoul City Hall along with Deputy Mayor for Political Affairs Kim Byung-min, handing out coffee and refreshments. Administrative Deputy Mayor Kim Sang-han and Administrative Deputy Mayor Yoo Chang-soo met with employees at the Seosomun Annex of Seoul City Hall.

Seoul reclaimed the top grade (1st place) in the '2024 Public Institution Comprehensive Integrity Evaluation' announced by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission the previous day, marking the first time in 14 years since 2010. On the 11th, Seoul ranked 6th overall in the Global Power City Index (GPCI) announced by the Mori Memorial Foundation's Institute for Urban Strategies in Japan.

Mayor Oh said, "Thanks to all Seoul city employees renewing their mindset and making efforts, we were able to achieve the top integrity grade, and even first place among them. I am grateful to the Seoul city employees who achieved results beyond imagination in just one year, and I am proud and deeply appreciative of their hard work."

Earlier, at the emergency economic meeting the previous day, Mayor Oh also stated that the top grade in comprehensive integrity and the rise in the city competitiveness index were not the achievements of just one or two departments, but the result of all Seoul city public officials working together, making it even more prideful and expressing gratitude for the efforts and passion shown by the employees.
