AhnLab announced on the 20th that it participated in the 'MITRE ATT&CK Evaluation Enterprise Round 6 (MITRE ATT&CK Evaluation)' conducted by the U.S. nonprofit research and development organization MITRE, demonstrating its global-level threat detection and analysis capabilities.
The MITRE ATT&CK Evaluation is a test that reconstructs the actual attack processes of specific threat groups to comprehensively evaluate detection at each detailed attack stage, the level of detailed analysis information, and whether blocking was successful. A total of 19 global security companies participated in this year's Round 6 evaluation.
AhnLab participated in the 'Detection' category of this evaluation with its next-generation endpoint detection and response solution 'AhnLab EDR,' endpoint security platform 'AhnLab EPP,' and SaaS (Software as a Service) security threat analysis platform 'AhnLab XDR.' In this evaluation, AhnLab detected 56 out of 59 attack stages, achieving a detection rate of 94.9%, and provided detailed evidence and attack analysis information.
In particular, AhnLab recorded a higher detection rate compared to last year, despite the increased difficulty and stricter evaluation criteria of the test environment.
AhnLab is the only domestic security company to have participated in the MITRE ATT&CK Evaluation for four consecutive years since 2021.
Jeon Seonghak, head of AhnLab Research Center, said, "AhnLab showed meaningful results by achieving an increased detection rate in this MITRE ATT&CK Evaluation, which demanded higher levels of threat detection and analysis capabilities compared to previous tests. We will continue to devote ourselves to research and development to provide solutions with world-class performance."
