The Pinkfong Company announced on the 20th that the movie and TV series of 'Pinkfong Baby Shark' have been nominated in a total of three categories at the International Emmy Awards' Children & Family Awards. This is the highest number of nominations ever received by the Korean animation industry, demonstrating the global status of K-animation.

The International Emmy Awards' Children & Family Awards, established in 2022 and now in its third year, is a ceremony hosted by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) in the United States, boasting the highest prestige in the broadcasting industry.

At this ceremony, 'Baby Shark' was nominated for Voice Acting, Theme Song, and Music (Sound Mixing and Editing) categories.

Kimiko Glenn, who played the role of Baby Shark in both the TV series and the movie, has been nominated for the Voice Acting award, drawing attention. Additionally, the OST 'Keep Swimming' from the 'Baby Shark Movie,' performed by the group ENHYPEN, was nominated for the Theme Song award, and the 'Baby Shark Movie' was also selected as a nominee for the Music award.

'Baby Shark Movie: The Secret of the Siren Stone,' co-produced with Paramount-affiliated studio Nickelodeon, was released on Paramount Plus in December 2023 and showcased its box office power by ranking in the TOP 10 in 23 countries worldwide. This film is the screen version of the TV series 'Baby Shark Olivia and William,' gaining audience approval through its star-studded cast and expanded universe.
