Geumcheon-gu Selects 6 Outstanding Job-Creating Companies Including Miju, Ascend Media, and Uribaemi

December 19: Certification and Plaque Awarded to 6 Outstanding Companies... Various Benefits Provided to Selected Companies

Geumcheon-gu (District Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced that it selected outstanding companies that contributed to job creation over the past year and awarded certificates and plaques on the 19th.

The district recruited outstanding job-creating companies located in Geumcheon-gu last November, targeting small and medium-sized enterprises with a ‘1-year employment growth rate of 5% or more’ and ‘at least 2 Geumcheon-gu residents among the increased employees.’

The applications were evaluated based on ▲ the number of increased workers over the past year (2023.10.1.~2024.9.30.) ▲ employment growth rate ▲ hiring performance of Geumcheon-gu residents ▲ welfare benefits system, and six outstanding companies were selected.

The selected companies are ‘Miju,’ ‘Ascend Media,’ ‘EJ Information System,’ ‘Lotus ENT,’ ‘Wooribymi,’ and ‘Cranberry.’

The district plans to provide benefits (incentives) to the outstanding companies, such as priority support for Geumcheon-gu resident employment subsidies, labor and personnel consulting for business owners, additional points when providing loans for SME development funds, preferential selection for advanced industry exhibitions, and preferential selection for domestic and international fairs.

Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thank you for your efforts to expand employment and contribute to the economic development of Geumcheon-gu despite difficult circumstances.”
