Sangmyung University, Professor Jo Okhee of Animation Selected for New 'K-MOOC' Course

Sangmyung University announced on the 19th that Professor Jo Okhee, majoring in Animation, has had her course finally selected as a new course for the '2024 Second Half Korean Massive Open Online Course (K-MOOC) Project.'

K-MOOC is a project led by the Ministry of Education and the National Institute for Lifelong Education. The course selected this time, taught by Professor Jo, is titled "Advanced Reel Production Using Unreal Engine Applied with Artificial Intelligence (AI)." This lecture integratively covers generative AI and the 3D graphics production engine Unreal Engine, aiming to produce various content and reels utilizing these technologies.


For the second half of this year, a total of 10 schools, including Sangmyung University, were selected for K-MOOC. A digital badge system will be introduced for the first time in the courses selected this time. Professor Jo's course will be released in the second half of next year.


Professor Jo stated, "I planned the course to provide educational content that aligns with current trends," adding, "I will provide the latest content every year in accordance with the latest AI trends and engine updates."
