Guri-si Successfully Concludes 'Kkureogi Nutrition Class'

Galmae Health Living Support Center Conducts Healthy Eating Education for Children

The Galmae Health Living Support Center in Guri-si, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) announced on the 19th that the "Kkureogi Nutrition Class," which has been promoted since June, was successfully completed.

The "Kkureogi Nutrition Class" was conducted a total of 20 times for 326 children attending daycare centers in Galmae-dong. The program was designed to be easy and fun, featuring audiovisual materials for the "Eat Lightly and Balanced" education and worksheet activities using a food composition bicycle, receiving positive responses from daycare staff and children.

Based on the results of this operation, the Galmae Health Living Support Center plans to continue running children's health promotion programs, including education on reducing sugar intake.

Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun of Guri-si said, "Since forming healthy lifestyle habits in early childhood is important, we will actively support the healthy growth of children by operating various health programs in the future."
