OCI recently announced that it won the Grand Prize in the Large Corporation Metal & Chemical Industry category at the 'Web Award Korea 2024' hosted by the Korea Internet Professional Association (KIPFA).
Now in its 21st year, the 'Web Award Korea' is the most prestigious website evaluation ceremony in South Korea. A panel of over 4,000 current professionals, including web experts and professors, selects outstanding websites in each field based on 18 evaluation criteria across six categories: visual design, UI design, content, service, and more.
The OCI website received high scores across all evaluation criteria, including visual design, UI design, and content, earning the Grand Prize. Since its spin-off and establishment in May last year, OCI has completely renewed and relaunched its website, strengthening content related to its core business areas and investment information centered on the new vision of being "a core materials company that adds value to the world."
At this award, OCI was praised for applying design elements derived from the corporate logo and colors to express brand identity in a simple yet sophisticated manner. Additionally, the website enhanced accessibility by providing corporate information and investor relations (IR) information through an intuitive interface such as the 'Quick Menu,' and was highly evaluated for effectively and transparently delivering important corporate information.
Meanwhile, the OCI website was also recognized for its excellence in content and design by winning the Silver Award in the Digital Communication category at the '2024 ICT Award Korea,' the largest ICT award in the country, held last July.
An OCI representative stated, "OCI’s website is composed of diverse content for stakeholders and effectively conveys OCI’s corporate vision and core business areas through an intuitive and sophisticated design and interface. We will continue to enhance the website’s functionality to improve stakeholders’ information accessibility and strengthen communication."
