9.258 Trillion Won Invested, 'Shahin Project' Expected to Gain Momentum
Completion Application on the 2nd, Completion Approval on the 19th... Pro-Business Policy Draws Attention
Ulsan City announced that the site construction for the S-OIL petrochemical complex facility construction project was completed on the 19th, raising expectations for accelerated progress in the Shahin Project facility construction.
This site construction project involves developing a 961,000㎡ (approximately 290,000 pyeong) site for the Shahin Project promoted by S-OIL. After receiving pre-use approval on September 18, 2023, before completion, the construction was finally finished.
In particular, Ulsan City actively implemented a business-friendly policy by approving the completion application submitted on December 2, 16 days ahead of the statutory processing deadline (30 working days).
The Shahin Project, in which S-OIL is investing a total of 9.258 trillion KRW, is expected to gain momentum with the completion of the site construction, bringing effects such as revitalizing the local economy and creating jobs for workers.
An official from Ulsan City said, “The expedited approval process, which significantly shortened the statutory deadline, increased corporate satisfaction,” and added, “We will continue to pursue pro-business policies to provide practical support to resident companies.”
