Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 18th that it held an educational family roundtable at Maseok High School on the 17th to discuss school issues and educational support measures.

The roundtable was attended by 19 people, including school officials, parents, students, and city officials, who discussed improving the educational environment at Maseok High School and revitalizing future education.
The main discussion points included △ remodeling the ‘Wee Class’ counseling room for emotional support and consulting for students △ establishing a digital education environment in preparation for the introduction of AI digital textbooks △ expanding bus routes during school commute times △ installing traffic lights at Changhyeon Intersection to improve student commuting routes.
Previously, the city supported Maseok High School for three years by improving the educational environment and programs, including △ installing mobile whiteboards △ operating specialized curricula △ and implementing the public education level-up project.
Mayor Joo Gwang-deok stated, “Namyangju City is doing its best to ensure that students can receive comfortable and safe education,” and added, “We will continue to communicate sincerely with schools for the development of education in Namyangju, inherit the spirit of Dasan, and strive to nurture future talents.”
