Gwangju City Holds 2024 Community Social Security Council Performance Report Conference

Gwangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Bang Se-hwan) announced on the 18th that it held a Community Social Security Council Performance Report Conference at the Namhansanseong Art Hall Grand Theater on the 17th.

The event was attended by about 700 stakeholders, including council members, who reviewed the achievements of the past year and shared best practices.

The event opened spectacularly with a pre-performance by the Sunakru Dance Team from Opo Resident Autonomy Center. The event was divided into two parts: Part 1 and Part 2. During the Part 1 ceremony, a video of the 2024 council activities was screened, best practice presentations were held, awards were given to outstanding organizations, and commendations were presented to meritorious individuals.

In Part 2, a musical performance of Sunny Ten was held, further heating up the atmosphere of the event. The performance, blending emotion and laughter, provided attendees with unforgettable joy and a warm afterglow.

Lee Hwang-yong, the private committee chairman, said, “Through this event, we shared various welfare activities across the region, deeply appreciating the efforts of the council members for regional welfare and spent a meaningful time exploring future development directions.”

Mayor Bang Se-hwan also stated, “This performance report conference was an occasion to look back on the year and share encouragement and gratitude with those who dedicated and worked hard for the community,” adding, “Going forward, Gwangju City will continue to build a warm public-private cooperative welfare community without blind spots together with the Community Social Security Council.”
