Busan Gijang-gun (Governor Jeong Jong-bok) will begin recruiting participants for the '2025 New Year Practical Agricultural Education' starting from the 23rd to support local farmers' agricultural activities in the new year.
The New Year Practical Agricultural Education is a representative agricultural training program of the Gijang-gun Agricultural Technology Center. Experts from various fields are invited to provide essential skills and information needed for farming, supporting farmers in planning their agricultural activities for the new year and contributing practically to increasing farm income.

The training will be held from January 13 to 17 next year at the main auditorium of the Agricultural Academy Hall in the county Agricultural Technology Center. Each day will cover 'common field education' including ▲ New Year farming plan establishment ▲ Changes in agricultural policies ▲ Public payment system ▲ Agricultural new technology demonstration projects, along with 'specialized field education' consisting of ▲ Rice ▲ Potato ▲ Corn ▲ Chili pepper.
The recruitment quota is 70 people per each of the four courses, totaling 280 participants. Farmers wishing to participate can apply on a first-come, first-served basis for their desired course starting from the 23rd via the Agricultural Technology Center website or by phone. Additionally, participants will receive essential farm work safety supplies and Effective Microorganisms (EM) necessary for farming.
Governor Jeong Jong-bok stated, "Through this education, it is expected that local farmers will newly design their 2025 farming plans and improve their ability to respond to changes in the agricultural environment," and added, "We ask for active participation for the development of Gijang agriculture."
