Selection Results Announced on January 24 Next Year on the City Education Office Website
The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Cheon Chang-su) will operate a total of 19 village schools next year, divided into four types.
By type, there will be 2 Village Care Love Rooms, 8 Village After-School Programs, 8 Village Small-Scale Experience Centers, and 1 Dream Connection Center.
Entering its seventh year of operation, the village school is a village education community where the village raises children together, the village becomes a learning space for children, and the children become the owners. It provides safe out-of-school care and learning spaces for all students.
The Ulsan Office of Education will publicly recruit organizations to operate village schools for next year until 5 p.m. on the 30th.
Eligibility to apply includes nonprofit corporations, private organizations, and private small libraries that operate centered around the village in the Ulsan area.
The Ulsan Office of Education will conduct all processes from the public recruitment to execution and settlement through ‘Education Office Botam-e’, and select the final operating organizations through on-site and document evaluations. The selection results will be announced on January 24 next year on the city education office’s website under ‘Information Disclosure - Notices’.
Selected organizations will receive budget support. Village Care Love Rooms will be supported with 29.75 million KRW, Village After-School Programs with 5.1 million KRW, Village Small-Scale Experience Centers with 3.4 million KRW, and Dream Connection Centers with 4.25 million KRW, respectively.
