Industry First, Korea's First 6-Year Free Warranty on Printer Heads
On the 18th, Epson Korea announced the launch of the A4 line-head business inkjet Epson WorkForce Pro 'EM-C800'. Notably, the EM-C800 is a new product that guarantees a stable printing environment by offering the industry's and domestic market's first free warranty service period of up to 6 years for the printer head.
The EM-C800 is equipped with Epson's 'Heat-Free' technology, which does not use heat during printing. Since it has no heat-using components, it enables a low-power, low-carbon printing environment. Without a warm-up process, the printing speed is also fast. The first page print speed is 4.8 seconds for black and 5.3 seconds for color, achieving an average printing speed of 25 ipm, allowing efficient work even in busy business environments.
Because there is no printer head damage caused by heat, internal component wear and damage are minimized, reducing maintenance burdens for users. Additionally, it adopts high-capacity ink packs capable of printing up to 50,000 pages in black and 20,000 pages in color, reducing replacement frequency, making it economical, and at the same time environmentally friendly by reducing waste generation.
In particular, the EM-C800 is the industry's and domestic market's first inkjet multifunction device to provide a 6-year free warranty period for the printer head, a core component, which reduces maintenance burdens for rental business customers even during long-term product rentals.
Ease of use and management is also an advantage. The ink pack installation is designed for easy setup, and the paper tray supports a large capacity from a basic 330 sheets up to a maximum of 1,830 sheets. The product is equipped with an embedded ERS program that allows real-time monitoring of performance and current status, enabling maintenance and management through an online system without connecting to a separate PC.
