Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Doosan Enerbility Donate 180 Million Won to Support Vulnerable Groups in Changwon Area

Energy Voucher Support Fund Delivery Ceremony Held

The Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Doosan Enerbility held a ‘Support Fund Delivery Ceremony for Energy-Vulnerable Groups in Changwon’ at the Doosan Enerbility Guesthouse.

The event, held for the third time on the 17th, was attended by Choi Jae-ho, Chairman of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hong Nam-pyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, and Jung Yeon-in, Vice Chairman of Doosan Enerbility.


On this day, the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry supported 50 million KRW, and Doosan Enerbility increased its support by 30 million KRW from last year to 130 million KRW, delivering a total donation of 180 million KRW to Changwon City. This increase is due to the rise in the number of beneficiary households from 1,254 in 2023 to 1,450 in 2024.


The donated funds will be provided to all households with four or more members using energy vouchers in the Changwon area (a system where the government, together with local governments, supports energy-vulnerable groups by providing energy usage rights for electricity, city gas, district heating, etc., during summer and winter seasons).


The delivery ceremony was attended by Choi Jae-ho, Chairman of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hong Nam-pyo, Mayor of Changwon, and Jung Yeon-in, Vice Chairman of Doosan Enerbility, emphasizing joint efforts and commitment to support the local community.


Chairman Choi said, “I hope this support fund can offer a warmer winter to our neighbors in need, even if just a little. We will continue various social contribution activities in cooperation with the local community.”


Vice Chairman Jung stated, “We will continuously seek various ways to coexist with the local community to fulfill our corporate social responsibility.”
