Naver and the Korea Rural Community Corporation have decided to introduce IT technology to respond to the climate crisis and regional extinction in agricultural and fishing villages.
According to Naver on the 17th, Naver and the Korea Rural Community Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) related to this the day before.
Under this agreement, the two organizations will cooperate in ▲ activating care for vulnerable groups in agricultural and fishing villages through the introduction of Naver Clova Care Call ▲ revitalizing experience villages and idle resources in agricultural and fishing villages through the introduction of Smart Place ▲ promoting ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management through cooperation in renewable energy development.
First, Naver will pilot its AI phone care service, 'Clova Care Call,' targeting 100 pension recipients from the farmland bank and vulnerable groups in the Chungbuk area of the Korea Rural Community Corporation. Naver will provide technical consulting and other support. Various experience spaces in agricultural and fishing villages will be introduced through Naver Smart Place, aiming to provide users with diverse information about these areas and increase points of contact.
Additionally, they plan to cooperate in promoting ESG management through joint development of renewable energy such as agrivoltaics, and in the long term, they intend to pool efforts to introduce various innovative technologies including AI and digital twins.
