Various Programs Involving District Residents from 18th to 20th
Creating a Space for Communication by Sharing Annual Works and Educational Achievements
Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) is hosting the ‘Jungnang Media Festival’ at the Jungnang Yangwon Media Center.
Held over three days from the 18th to the 20th, this event was planned to share and communicate the media activity achievements of the residents.
The ‘Jungnang Media Festival’ is an opportunity to appreciate works created by residents and course completion projects produced at the Jungnang Yangwon Media Center, aiming to enhance understanding and interest in media.
During the event, various programs such as ▲screenings of resident-produced films ▲exhibitions of student works ▲media special lectures will be held.
In particular, two short films produced through the ‘Youth Film Camp 2024’ by Jungnang Nofil Film School and works by ‘Ullim,’ a documentary production club composed of Jungnang residents, will be screened.
Additionally, short films by film directors who started filmmaking through the media center and are actively working will be specially screened. After the screenings, a ‘Cinetalk’ session will be held to share the filmmaking process and communicate with the audience.
Special lectures to strengthen residents’ media capabilities are also prepared. Over three days, lectures on various topics will be offered, including ▲media literacy lecture ‘Our Children Growing as Digital Citizens’ ▲film humanities lecture ‘Shin Ji-hye’s Journey through Film Music’ ▲media trend lecture ‘SNS Trend Analysis and Strategy.’
This festival will be conducted through a total of five programs alongside ongoing exhibitions, recruiting 286 participants. It is expected to provide residents with new perspectives on media through diverse lectures and offer opportunities to enhance their media creation and utilization skills. Detailed schedules and information can be found on the Jungnang Yangwon Media Center’s website.
Ryu Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, “I am proud to have provided residents with various media experiences through the media center,” and added, “We will continue to support residents so they can enjoy the joy of creation and produce content that tells their own stories.”
Since its opening in March, the Jungnang Yangwon Media Center has supported residents’ creative activities by operating various facilities and media programs such as ‘Cinema Nofil.’
The district plans to continuously develop educational, experiential, and screening programs and expand technical support to further develop the ‘Jungnang Media Festival’ into a resident-centered festival.
