"Yoon Declares Martial Law to Investigate Election Manipulation and Fraud"
Pastor Jeon Gwang-hoon of Sarang Jeil Church, who is in charge of the National Revolution Headquarters, claimed on the 16th regarding the 22nd general election that “half of the 192 seats won by the left-wing opposition parties are fake.” On the same day, Pastor Jeon held a press conference hosted by the National Movement Headquarters for Setting the Republic of Korea Straight (Daegukbon) at the Liberty Unification Party headquarters in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, stating, “I am convinced it was a fraudulent election.”
Pastor Jeon said, “Everyone gathered in Gwanghwamun last weekend were members of the Liberty Unification Party, yet only 640,000 votes were counted in the last general election. Who would accept this? The National Intelligence Service has known about this for a long time, and President Yoon even warned about it during his time as Prosecutor General,” he said.
President Yoon Suk-yeol, in a statement on the 12th, raised suspicions of election fraud by explaining the deployment of martial law troops to the Central Election Commission as “to check for vulnerabilities in the election commission’s computer system.” In response, the election commission criticized, “Claims of election fraud raised multiple times during the election process have all been found baseless through judicial rulings,” and added, “Raising suspicions based on strong doubts about election fraud is a self-denial of the election management system that elected oneself as president.”
When a reporter asked Pastor Jeon on the day, “If election fraud is true, doesn’t that mean the election in which President Yoon was elected could also have been manipulated?” Pastor Jeon replied, “That is not the case.”

He said, “I have never met or spoken with President Yoon,” adding, “We created a USB proving 100% election fraud and delivered it, but it seems to have been cut off at Chief Secretary Jeong Jin-seok’s level and not passed on.” He added, “All I can do is call the Senior Secretary for Social Affairs to protest.”
Regarding Han Dong-hoon, the former leader of the People Power Party who resigned from his position that day, he criticized, “He not only ruined the party and the election but also ruined the Republic of Korea,” and said, “Is it okay to fight with the president like that during the election campaign? It means giving up on the election.”
Regarding President Yoon’s declaration of emergency martial law on December 3rd, he expressed the view that “the opposition parties have been inducing paralysis of the president’s administration.” He continued, “The election commission’s password ‘12345’ is proof that the commission is connected to external forces,” and said, “Looking back after the martial law, it can be seen that President Yoon claimed election interference by China and North Korea during the presidential election and showed willingness to investigate related cases.” He added, “Considering President Yoon’s career leading the National Intelligence Service’s comment investigation team and his past statements, the purpose of this martial law is to investigate election manipulation and fraud issues.”
