Online Voting Participants Entered into a Draw for Prizes Until December 19, 2024
"Sharing Residents' Valuable Opinions and Visions Will Greatly Help Make a Better Mapo"

Mapo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Park Gang-su) is conducting an online vote until December 19 to select the ‘Top 10 Policies of Mapo-gu in 2024’ that added warmth to residents' lives and led to change among the major projects promoted throughout 2024.
This vote, held under the theme "Which Mapo-gu policy warmed your heart?", was organized to allow residents to share their opinions on policies and participate in the vision of the district administration.
The voting is conducted online until December 19, and participation is possible through the QR code or Naver form link posted on the Mapo-gu website and official blog posts.
Each resident can select up to three options.
The voting targets are 20 projects across seven fields including welfare, culture-tourism economy, education, women and family, urban development and facility expansion, safety, and administration, representing the major achievements and policies of the 8th elected term.
Key candidate policies include ▲Mapo-gu’s specialized filial piety administration ▲Expansion of infrastructure for Hongdae Red Road ▲Opening of Silppuri Welfare Center and launch of Silppuri Welfare Companion Group ▲Opening of Mapo-gu Public Study Cafe (Space) ▲Opening and operation of Anyone Sports Center ▲Operation of pet camping site ▲Operation of on-site mayor’s office ▲Alleyway commercial district revitalization Boom Festival ▲Operation of Mom Cafe ▲Family Love Mom and Dad Camp ▲Safety management of dense crowds in Hongdae ▲Operation of Mapo Circulation Train Bus, among others.
The district plans to announce the ranking of the Top 10 policies chosen by Mapo residents on December 23 through blogs and other channels, and to encourage active participation by offering BBQ chicken, Olive Young, and Starbucks gifticons to 50 people selected by lottery.
Meanwhile, the district plans to reflect the policies loved and supported by residents, selected through this vote, in the district’s direction and goals to accelerate the promotion of more substantial policies.
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, said, “The valuable opinions of residents will be a great force in making a better Mapo,” and added, “I ask many residents to actively participate, and we will continue to promote policies that residents can genuinely empathize with and feel in their daily lives.”
