The donated funds were prepared by the members of the Korea Association of Realtors Northern Gyeonggi Branch Yangju Chapter to provide a small help to lonely and struggling neighbors during the year-end and New Year holidays, and will be used to assist vulnerable groups such as elderly living alone and disabled people in the welfare blind spots within the district.
Branch Chief Jeon Ji-won said, “Despite the difficulties faced by realtors due to the real estate market downturn, I hope that the funds collected with small sincerity will be of some help to the neighbors in need in the district.”
Mayor Kang Su-hyun said, “I am grateful to the Korea Association of Realtors Yangju Branch for extending a warm hand to neighbors in need,” and added, “The funds collected with warm hearts will be gratefully delivered to those neighbors who need help.”
Meanwhile, since last year, the Korea Association of Realtors Yangju Branch has not only been delivering sponsorship funds to neighbors in need in the local community but also actively participating in preventing lease fraud and establishing a fair and sound real estate transaction order so that citizens can trade with peace of mind.
