Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, presided over an emergency executive meeting on the morning of December 16 at the district office annex auditorium regarding the recent national situation to ensure the safety of residents and stabilize their livelihoods.
The meeting was attended by all executives at grade 5 or higher, including Mayor Choi Ho-kwon, Deputy Mayor Kim Hyuk, heads of bureaus and offices, special policy advisors, and department (dong) heads.
The meeting focused on discussing measures in key areas such as ▲establishing public service discipline ▲supporting local economic revitalization ▲assisting vulnerable groups and stabilizing the livelihoods of ordinary citizens ▲thorough disaster safety management ▲and stable execution of administrative tasks, prioritizing residents' safety and livelihood stability.
Mayor Choi Ho-kwon of Yeongdeungpo District emphasized, “Above all, to ensure that the safety, livelihoods, and local economy of our residents remain stable, we will steadily carry out the major pending projects. All staff should focus on their core duties with a sincere attitude as public officials.” He added, “We will maintain a thorough emergency contact network with related organizations to respond swiftly to emergency situations and do our best to stabilize district administration through continuous communication with residents.”
Based on the matters discussed at this meeting, the district plans to continuously monitor and implement effective measures to stabilize residents' livelihoods.
