Maintaining Winter Disaster Preparedness Situation Management System
Lee Sang-geun, the governor of Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam, instructed at the executive meeting on the 16th to thoroughly establish public service discipline and strengthen support for small business owners and vulnerable groups due to the current domestic situation and the recession in the domestic economy, as difficulties in the lives of residents are increasing. He also emphasized the need to ensure thorough disaster safety management during the winter season.
The governor stated, “In this national crisis situation, we will do our best to prepare measures to stabilize people’s livelihoods and to prepare for winter disasters,” and added, “We will normally proceed with year-end and New Year festivals and events hosted by our county to promote domestic demand and activate consumption, and ensure that there is no administrative gap.”
He also emphasized, “We will concentrate all administrative power to ensure that the precious daily lives of the residents can be maintained without disruption.”
Meanwhile, since the 9th, Goseong-gun has established a Livelihood Stabilization Task Force with the vice governor as the head and is promoting the ‘Goseong-gun Livelihood Stabilization Special Measures.’
The task force is composed of the Local Administration Team (led by the Director of the Administrative Welfare Bureau) and the Regional Economy and Safety Management Team (led by the Director of the Industry and Construction Bureau), focusing on ▲ smooth execution of current issues and tasks ▲ stabilization of the livelihoods of ordinary citizens and the local economy ▲ thorough disaster safety management ▲ establishment of public service discipline.
