On the 16th, Yeongju City in Gyeongbuk announced that 'KMX' visited the city hall and donated 770 bags of 10kg rice (worth approximately 20 million KRW) as an act of love for neighbors in need.
The donated rice will be delivered to 45 locations including elderly welfare facilities, disability welfare facilities, and meal service centers to support a warm year-end for vulnerable groups in the local community.
CEO Kim Seong-gyu said, "As the year-end approaches, we wanted to offer a small help so that the elderly and disabled can have a warm year-end, so we decided to donate rice," adding, "We will strive to become a company that grows with the community and practices sharing."
Mayor Park Nam-seo expressed, "We deeply thank CEO Kim Seong-gyu of KMX for practicing warm sharing at the year-end," and added, "We hope this donation will be a great support to the elderly and disabled in the region."
KMX also donated 1,800 samgyetang meal kits (worth approximately 10 million KRW) to Yeongju City last September, continuously spreading warmth to the local community through ongoing sharing activities.
