"Spend Your Winter Vacation at Jangja Lake Ecological Experience Center"

The city of Guri, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) announced on the 16th that it will operate a winter vacation ecological environment program at Jangja Lake Ecological Experience Center from January 4 to February 18 next year. The program allows children, adolescents, and families to recognize and feel sensitivity and the diversity of ecosystems through sensory experiences in an urban park, helping them appreciate the importance and value of nature.

This ecological environment program is an educational experience where participants learn the importance of nature and environmental protection and experience ecosystems through various activities. Guri city environmental interpreters will conduct sessions under the themes of "Birds! Birds!", "Winter Stories Told by Flora and Fauna," and "Making Sea Creature Character Soaps."


The program is targeted at elementary school students in Guri and their families. Those who wish to apply can register through the Guri City Integrated Reservation Portal starting from the 13th.


Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun said, "I hope this program will be a time for children to love nature and realize the importance of environmental protection," adding, "I hope it will be an important opportunity to instill a deep understanding and proper values about sustainable ways of living based on a profound understanding of the environment in which they live."
