Year-End Promotion Season... Seoul City and District PR Officers' 'Promotion Relay'

It is the year-end promotion season.

The sweat poured over the past year is rewarded with a promotion.

Especially for public officials, promotion is an absolute task.

In celebration of the year-end promotion season, the PR personnel of Seoul City and its autonomous districts are sending continuous news of promotions.

Seoul City announced that Kim Kyung-jin, head of the newspaper team, has joined the ranks of Grade 4 (Senior Secretary) promotions. As a Grade 7 public service exam pass and senior team leader of the press office, he received a year-end promotion gift as a result of his hard work.

Promotion news of PR personnel is also continuing in the autonomous districts.

Kim Ran-su, PR officer of Songpa-gu, was honored with a Grade 4 promotion after working in PR for a year. Having served as the head of the PR planning team and then as PR officer, she was recognized for her dedication to promoting district administration.

Lee Hye-sook, head of the press team in Seongdong-gu, and Park Young-soo, head of the press team in Eunpyeong-gu, recently celebrated their Grade 5 (Administrative Officer) promotions. Lee served as press team leader for one and a half years, and Park for two and a half years, both showing tireless effort.

This relay of promotions among PR personnel is expected to increase further.

A Seoul City autonomous district official stated, “As the importance of PR work gradually increases, the promotions of PR officers seem to be steadily established.”

No matter how good the administration plans and executes, if the promotion is not done properly, all efforts become ineffective.

Also, actively responding to and correcting inaccurate media reports is becoming increasingly important, thus the role of PR personnel is growing.
