On the 14th (local time), the two players shot an 8-under 62 in the second round foursome (alternating shots with one ball) at the Grant Thornton Invitational (total prize money $4 million), a mixed-gender team event held at Tiburon Golf Club (par 72, 6,556 yards) in Naples, Florida, USA, moving up to second place (18-under 126). They made nine birdies, including three consecutive birdies. The only blemish was a bogey on the 12th hole (par 3).

Jake Knapp (USA) and Patty Tavatanakit (Thailand) lowered their score by six strokes, maintaining their lead on the leaderboard for the second consecutive day (20-under 124). Aksay Bhatia and Jennifer Kupcho (both USA) are in third place (17-under 127), while defending champions Jason Day (Australia) and Lydia Ko (New Zealand) are in fourth place (15-under 129). Corey Conners and Brooke Henderson (both Canada) are tied for fifth (14-under 130), and Daniel Berger and Nelly Korda (both USA) are tied for tenth (11-under 133).

This tournament is co-hosted by the PGA Tour and the LPGA Tour. Sixteen teams participate. The first round is a scramble (each player hits a shot, then the best ball is selected and players hit their next shots from there), the second round is foursome, and the final third round is a modified four-ball (each player tees off, then from the next shot uses the partner’s ball). The winner’s prize is $500,000 (approximately 700 million KRW).
