Darkened Presidential Office... 'Welcome to Visit' LED Signboard Message Disappears [Photo] On the afternoon of the 14th, when the impeachment motion against President Yoon Seok-yeol was passed in the National Assembly, the electronic display board at the Presidential Office's information desk was turned off.

On the 14th, when the impeachment motion against President Yoon Suk-yeol passed the plenary session of the National Assembly, the electronic display board at the entrance of the Yongsan Presidential Office building went dark.

Normally, the display board at the entrance to the building shows the message "Welcome to the Presidential Office" and remains lit until evening, but on this day, it was reported to have turned off immediately after the impeachment motion was approved.

President Yoon watched the voting results of the National Assembly's impeachment motion from his residence in Hannam-dong in the afternoon and then recorded a public address.

At around 6:08 p.m., the Presidential Office distributed materials, videos, and photos of President Yoon's "Message to the People" to the entire press corps with access to the Presidential Office.

Wearing a red-toned necktie, President Yoon stated in his address, "I am pausing for a moment now, but the journey toward the future that I have walked with the people for the past two and a half years must never stop," and added, "I will never give up."

He continued, "I ask the political circles," and added, "I hope you will pay attention and make efforts to improve political culture and systems so that politics can change from reckless confrontation to deliberation and consideration."
