"Terrorist Precision Strike"
On the 14th (local time), the Israeli military reportedly conducted an airstrike on a school in the northern Gaza Strip, according to the local daily Times of Israel.
The Israeli military stated in a press release that day, "We precisely targeted terrorists who were simulating an Israeli attack," adding, "They were hiding in the 'Yafa' school building in Gaza City."
The Israeli military has repeatedly claimed that the Palestinian armed group Hamas hides in civilian buildings such as schools and hospitals, using Palestinian residents as 'human shields.'
While the Israeli military said it minimized civilian casualties, it did not provide information on the number of casualties.
According to Al Jazeera, at least 50 people, including children, were reported killed in Israeli airstrikes across various parts of the Gaza Strip in one day.
