In a statement issued that day, the KCTU said, "Chu Kyung-ho, former floor leader of the People Power Party, who premeditated and abetted the insurrection, should be investigated as an accomplice to the insurrection, and preparations should be made to apply for the dissolution of the People Power Party," adding, "The accomplices of the insurrection must be identified and their crimes revealed."
The KCTU stated, "The ringleader of the insurrection was entrenched in the presidency. Even when the police, a state agency, carried search warrants, the Presidential Security Service, also a state agency, blocked them," and added, "There was only chaos and disorder. One disorder has been resolved through impeachment."
The KCTU said, "Impeachment is not the end. We must open a society where the basic labor rights of all workers are guaranteed, including the revision of Articles 2 and 3 of the Labor Union Act and the application of the Labor Standards Act to workplaces with fewer than five employees," and stated, "We must realize a great social reform through the power of workers and citizens who blocked the unconstitutional emergency martial law and opened the square for the impeachment of the insurrectionist Yoon Seok-yeol."
