Han Deok-su Responds to President Yoon's 'Election Fraud Allegations' Claim: "I Do Not Think So"

Prime Minister Han Duck-soo stated on the 13th that he does not believe there was "election fraud," referring to the "election fraud allegations" mentioned by President Yoon Suk-yeol in his address to the nation.

Prime Minister Han made this remark during an emergency current affairs inquiry held at the National Assembly that afternoon, responding to a related question from Cho Jung-sik, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea.

In response to Cho's question about how he viewed President Yoon's address to the nation, Prime Minister Han said, "The President said he would not evade any political or legal responsibility, and I believe that the law and the people will make a judgment according to the procedures."

Prime Minister Han also stated, "I think the Cabinet meeting itself has significant procedural and substantive flaws." He reiterated that he did not sign the Cabinet meeting held before the declaration of martial law. According to the Constitution, presidential acts under national law must be documented in writing and signed by the Prime Minister and relevant Cabinet members.

Regarding being reported on charges of treason and receiving a summons from investigative authorities as a suspect, Prime Minister Han explained, "I will cooperate well according to the investigation procedures."
