40 Million Blossoms Bloom in the '1004seom Bunjegarden'
Shinan-gun, Jeollanam-do, will hold the 'Island Winter Flower Festival' for one month until January 12 next year.
The festival will take place at the 1004 Island Bonsai Garden, showcasing 40 million baby camellia flowers along a 3 km-long baby camellia forest trail. Outdoors, a photo zone will be set up to capture winter memories, offering a photo shooting program, and at the Evening Glow Art Museum, activities such as writing wish letters and baby camellia painting experiences will also be held.
Especially in the air dome, drinks and snacks to warm up from the cold will be provided, and a caf? and resting area will be prepared so visitors can enjoy a winter flower festival filled with rest and emotion. Additionally, as an event, visitors wearing red clothes will receive a 50% discount on the admission fee.
County Governor Park Woo-ryang said, “At the month-long Winter Flower Festival, I hope everyone will wrap up the year well with the baby camellias blooming amidst the sky, sea, and pure white snow, and write wish letters to carry hopes for 2025.” He added, “The 40 million red camellia flowers captured in the eyes will warm the hearts of all visitors.”
