Testified as a witness before the National Assembly Science and ICT Committee
Broadcaster Kim Eo-jun introduced a tip-off stating that "Han Dong-hoon, the leader of the People Power Party, who is being arrested and transferred, will be shot" in relation to the December 3 emergency martial law situation.
Kim appeared as a witness before the National Assembly's Science, Technology, Information and Broadcasting and Communications Committee on the 13th. He said, "Not all facts have been confirmed," while introducing shocking content.

Referring to his notes, Kim said, "First, Han Dong-hoon, who is arrested and transferred, will be shot. Second, an assault on the unit escorting Cho Kuk, Yang Jeong-cheol, and Kim Eo-jun will be staged to rescue them, but then they will flee. Third, North Korean military uniforms will be buried at a specific location. Fourth, after a certain point in time, the uniforms will be discovered and announced as the work of North Korea." He added, "To elaborate, the shooting of Representative Han Dong-hoon is because he is the ruling party leader, making it easy to blame North Korea, and the purpose of the rescue operation for Cho Kuk, Yang Jeong-cheol, and Kim Eo-jun is to inflict maximum damage on the unit involved and announce that North Korea attempted to rescue pro-North Korean forces."

Kim said, "I have not heard about the demand to shoot the three people, so I do not know," and added, "(There are) other tips as well. Some U.S. soldiers will be shot to provoke the U.S. into bombing North Korea. I hope the responsible unit will inquire with Democratic Party lawmakers Kim Byung-joo or Park Seon-won." He also mentioned, "I received a tip about biochemical terrorism," and said, "Whether to disclose it or not is up to lawmaker Kim's judgment."
When asked how he took refuge during the martial law, he said, "The first tip I received was that an assassination squad, not an arrest squad, was activated," and added, "I immediately took refuge, estimated how many hours I had left if the martial law was not lifted, and organized what I needed to do during the remaining time."
