CrowdWorks is gaining momentum. It is attracting attention for securing not only customized AI solutions for companies but also a marketplace where AI data can be bought and sold in the era of artificial intelligence (AI).


CrowdWorks has launched the AI data trading platform 'A1 Data Exchange' and started its beta service. The A1 Data Exchange is a platform that provides AI training data purchases and certification of data transaction records. When purchasing data from CrowdWorks, a transaction record certificate is provided through a blockchain-based certification system, enhancing the transparency of data transactions. The certificate is issued on an immutable blockchain, ensuring that transaction records are clearly documented and guaranteed.


Through the A1 Data Exchange, CrowdWorks plans to collaborate with global data distributors to provide abundant data across various languages and industries starting next year. The goal is to create an environment where companies and researchers worldwide can easily utilize high-quality data. Additionally, a commerce function will be added to the platform to develop a service that allows immediate data transactions.


Kim Woo-seung, CEO of CrowdWorks, said, "The A1 Data Exchange will serve as a cornerstone to support the healthy growth of the data trading ecosystem and the sustainable development of AI. CrowdWorks will further solidify its responsibilities and roles as a core partner for AI companies and lead a sound AI ecosystem."


Blockchain startup PIP Labs recently received a corporate valuation of 3 trillion KRW in the United States. They built a platform that embeds ownership and licensing of intellectual property (IP) in metadata form, enabling creators to receive revenue distribution without complex legal procedures.


As of 10:45 AM on the 13th, CrowdWorks is trading at 19,060 KRW, up 20.25% from the previous day.


GL Research introduced CrowdWorks' 'WorksOne' as the first corporate SLM (Small Language Model) in Korea trained on high-quality data built by professional workers. It is optimized for Korean and features easy integration with internal and external corporate data.


They analyzed that CrowdWorks' reference of building 300 million data records demonstrates sufficient capability for customized AI solutions and predicted that this will lead to demand for developing customized large language models (LLM: Large Language Model) for corporate clients.


CrowdWorks provides products and customized solutions necessary for the pre-stage of utilizing AI and LLM. As a KOSDAQ-listed company, it brands itself as the only AI data-specialized company in Korea. Through 600,000 data professionals, it provides customized data necessary for AI model training. It also fosters data labeling personnel through data expert education.


It has over 550 clients across various industries, including Naver, Woori Bank, and KB Kookmin Card. As the first official business partner of Naver HyperCLOVA X, it develops various services through HyperCLOVA X and its own language model 'WorksOne.'


The in-house developed small language model (SLM) 'WorksOne' is analyzed to influence the stock price due to its specialization in cost reduction, data security, and privacy protection, which are characteristics of SLMs. Its technological prowess is also recognized in overseas markets. It has been listed in Gartner's Hype Cycle and CB Insights Market Map. Among domestic related companies, CrowdWorks is the only one included. Global IT research firm Gartner named it the only Korean company as an Emerging Leader in the AI Knowledge Management Apps/General Productivity category in its 'Generative AI Innovation Guide' report.

Across various industries, CrowdWorks enhances corporate work efficiency and productivity through customized AI technology solutions. It supported communication with foreign workers via a specialized terminology interpretation app used in shipbuilding and construction sites. The app is translated into 15 languages and offers a feature to save frequently used phrases. Additionally, it developed a solution that provides quick access to necessary information from vast insurance policy documents through a Q&A model based on insurance terms. Other solutions developed to meet client needs include ▲LLM for advertising copy creationchatbots for employeesAI event solutions.


CrowdWorks is currently conducting a new business of building high-quality medical AI data through its medical AI specialized subsidiary ‘DoctorWorks.’ DoctorWorks plans to provide services such as drug prescription support and automated medical document creation to over 100 client groups by utilizing a pool of about 1,000 doctors.


Recently, it began supplying short-form drama content created with AI technology to the global content platform ShortMax. It participates in production by generating and editing subtitles in 12 languages using AI-based tools.


DoctorWorks, a subsidiary with 57.6% ownership, is newly conducting a high-quality medical AI data construction business for medical professionals by leveraging a pool of about 1,000 doctors.
