Dangjin City Certified as a Leading Institution for Data Analysis Talent Development

Dangjin City, Chungnam Province, received the 'Leading Institution for Data Analysis Talent Development' certification plaque for the first time in the Chungcheong region at the '2024 Data Analysis Talent Certification Award Ceremony' hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety on the 11th. /Dangjin City

On the 11th, Dangjin City in Chungnam received the “Leading Institution for Data Analysis Talent Development” certification plaque for the first time in the Chungcheong region at the “2024 Data Analysis Specialist Certification Ceremony” hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

For this certification, the city participated in an intensive data analysis specialist training program organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety last May, focusing over five months on advanced skills such as data processing technology, visualization, and data mining, as well as developing practical problem-solving abilities applicable to real administrative settings.

Lee Eunsu, an officer in charge of planning and budgeting at Dangjin City, completed the program and, after a competency assessment, received the “Data Analysis Specialist” certificate, establishing himself as an expert with the capabilities to plan and execute data analysis.

Officer Lee will play a key role as a mentor in spreading a data-driven administrative culture.

Additionally, the city has addressed local issues through various projects utilizing public data and achieved the highest rating of “Outstanding Institution” for three consecutive years in the Ministry of the Interior and Safety’s assessment of data-driven administrative activation.

This certification recognizes Dangjin City’s efforts to promote data-driven administration and cultivate professional talent, further solidifying its status as a leading city in data analysis.

Mayor Oh Seonghwan stated, “This certification is a meaningful achievement that recognizes our data-driven problem-solving capabilities at the national level,” adding, “We will continue to nurture professionals with data analysis skills and contribute to improving the quality of life for citizens through data analysis that reflects administrative needs.”
