The 50 million KRW love fund donated this time will be delivered through the Community Chest of Korea to marginalized groups spending the cold winter, such as senior centers and welfare facilities near the golf course, as well as elderly people living alone in the district.
123 Golf Club, which joined as Goyang City's first Sharing Honor Company in 2021, has been steadily practicing sharing by donating a total of 1,215,542,000 KRW over 25 years since 2000 to help neighbors in need have a warm winter every year.
The "Sharing Honor Company" is a group of high-value corporate donors who have donated more than 100 million KRW or pledged payment within three years, contributing to the spread of a culture of sharing in our society.
Han Je-geol, CEO of 123 Golf Club, who attended the donation ceremony, said, "We will continue to make donations to help neighbors in need and deliver warmth to the local community together with Goyang City."
Lee Kyung-ah, Head of the Northern Gyeonggi Business Headquarters of the Community Chest of Korea, said, "We thank 123 Golf Club for leading sharing for marginalized neighbors, living up to its reputation as Goyang City's first Sharing Honor Company and Northern Gyeonggi's third Sharing Honor Company."
Lee Dong-hwan, Mayor of Goyang Special City, said, "I hope the good influence of 123 Golf Club, which has practiced sharing for three generations, will be a great force in brightening the welfare shadows of Goyang City."
