TikTok announced on the 12th that it has successfully completed the #WeGrow project aimed at revitalizing traditional markets and supporting small business owners.
This project was carried out as part of a partnership between TikTok and the Seoul Business Agency to foster the growth of small business brands and nurture creators.
TikTok and the Seoul Business Agency provided digital capability enhancement training to market small business owners at Tongin Market in Jongno-gu and Noryangjin Fish Market in Dongjak-gu. They also collaborated with popular TikTok creators to promote the markets.
TikTok has supported the creation of official accounts for traditional markets to facilitate communication between domestic and international tourists and the markets. The 182 pieces of content produced with the participation of TikTok creators recorded approximately 30 million total views and about 1 million 'likes' over the past five months.
