Naver announced on the 12th that it has released the '2024 Naver Blog Report,' which comprehensively summarizes meaningful data accumulated on blogs this year.
Since 2020, Naver has been publishing an annual blog report at the end of each year that includes various trends and data from its blog service. This report analyzed data from November 1 of last year to October 31 of this year.
This year, 2.14 million new blogs were created on Naver Blog. The total blog usage time was confirmed to be 700 million hours. The maximum number of posts written in a single day reached 1.2 million, visitors peaked at 18 million, newly formed neighbor connections totaled 640,000, and page views recorded 260 million.
Naver stated that the 'Photo Dump Challenge,' which records natural moments through multiple photos, received great response from MZ generation users. A total of 660,000 people participated in this challenge, creating 3.3 million posts and uploading a total of 62 million photos. The age distribution of participants was ▲20s 45%, ▲30s 25%, and ▲teens 10%, with the trend-leading MZ generation accounting for 80% in total, and female users making up 85%. Additionally, the topics with the most images accumulated in the Special Photo Dump Challenge were ▲world travel, ▲domestic travel, and ▲popular restaurants.
The growth of blog clips this year is also noteworthy. A total of 2.36 million blog clips were created this year, with popular topics including ▲recent hobbies, ▲summer vacations, and ▲Waterbomb.
Furthermore, the 'My Blog Report,' which analyzes users' blog styles, allows users to check their belonging 'blog village' and view their blog activity patterns, communication types, and popular keywords over the past year at a glance. The My Blog Report classifies users' blog styles into seven blog villages based on blog activity such as content publication count and blog visit frequency.
An event is also underway. Until the 31st, users who check their blog village on the My Blog Report page and publish a post publicly on their blog will complete their participation. Among participants, the first 20,000 whose blog village address number in the published My Blog Report ends with the digit 7 will receive 3,000 won in Naver Pay points.
