Kakao Wins 'Korea Win-Win Growth Award' Selected by the Win-Win Growth Committee

Kakao announced on the 11th that it received the 'Win-Win Growth Grand Prize' in the regional community win-win growth category at the '2024 Korea Win-Win Growth Awards Ceremony' hosted by the Win-Win Growth Committee.

Since 2022, Kakao has been operating 'Project Danggol,' which helps small business owners digitally transform to communicate with customers online. This year, Kakao participated in the Win-Win Growth Committee's regional commercial district digital transformation project, jointly carrying out the 'Danggol Street' initiative supporting local shopping districts such as Jeju Chilseong-ro Shopping Street and Seoul Nowon-gu Gongneung Supgil Shopping Street.

Project Danggol is a win-win program that visits traditional markets and local commercial districts nationwide to provide one-on-one customized digital education, helping merchants increase online touchpoints with customers and actively communicate. Kakao plans to further strengthen Project Danggol and expand support for small business owners going forward.
