Pocheon-si Holds Final Report Meeting for Comprehensive Plan Establishment Service on Intelligent Information Society

‘Digital Future City Pocheon Opened Together with Citizens’ Blueprint Presented

Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 11th that it held the final report meeting for the "Pocheon City Intelligent Information Society Comprehensive Plan Establishment Project" at the Pocheon City Hall administrative meeting room on the 10th.

This report meeting served as an opportunity to announce the results of the project conducted over the past six months and to share strategies and execution plans for creating a sustainable future through digital innovation together with citizens.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Mayor Kim Jong-hoon, experts in the field of intelligent informatization, and key senior officials, where the following topics were presented:

Detailed tasks reflecting the characteristics of Pocheon City include ▲ Revamping the official website based on generative artificial intelligence (AI) ▲ Establishing an integrated business system for Pocheon City campgrounds ▲ Creating a drone cluster ▲ Expanding smart intersections and implementing a real-time road hazard information system ▲ Introducing translation support services for multicultural families, selecting core tasks that citizens can directly experience.

A Pocheon City official stated, "This comprehensive plan is the first step for Pocheon City to lead the digital era and realize an informatized life that all citizens can feel," adding, "Based on the project results, we will establish practical execution plans and create a sustainable future."
