KakaoBank Launches 'Smart Jeonse Management Service'


KakaoBank announced on the 11th that it will launch the 'Smart Jeonse Management Service.'


'Smart Jeonse Management' is a service that analyzes the certified copy of the register, building ledger, market prices, and more to periodically assess the 'safety' of customers' Jeonse rental homes and guide them on tasks to complete before and after moving. Any KakaoBank customer aged 17 or older can use this service for free.


When customers enter the address and contract period of their current or planned Jeonse home on the 'Smart Jeonse Management' service screen, they can check the safety assessment results of the registered address. The safety results are provided by the partner company BigTechPlus, and the address can be changed once per month.


The 'Smart Jeonse Management' service analyzes the certified copy of the register, building ledger, market prices, and more to provide Jeonse home safety diagnosis results in four categories. For example, if there are no rights infringements and the deposit is deemed safe, it is marked as 'Safe'; if there is a recent history of rights infringement or ongoing ownership-related cases, it is marked as 'Caution.'


It is also possible to understand the 'safety' results by each category: ▲House ▲Landlord ▲Deposit. Customers can easily check whether there are any rights infringement issues to be aware of in the Jeonse home or if the landlord is a habitual defaulter. KakaoBank updates the 'safety' results weekly and sends notifications to customers if there are any changes in registration or landlord information.


In addition to safety diagnosis, the service provides a checklist function to help customers remember tasks to complete before and after moving. Customers can conveniently view a list of tasks to prepare for the moving period, such as booking a moving company, disposing of unnecessary items, and scheduling electronic appliance relocation and installation.


A KakaoBank representative said, "We prepared this service to provide essential functions in an easy-to-understand way for customers who are about to move into or currently living in Jeonse homes," adding, "Starting with the Smart Jeonse Management service, we will offer various housing-related services to support our customers' convenient residential life."
