Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants Launches AI Chatbot Service on 70th Anniversary

The Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants announced on the 11th the official launch of an AI-based chatbot service to commemorate its 70th anniversary. This service is designed to enable users to obtain information more easily and quickly by utilizing digital technology, aiming to provide efficient and convenient information to both members and the general public.

The chatbot is a service available 24/7 to anyone visiting the Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ website, offering personalized information depending on whether the user is logged in. Both general users and members can quickly and easily find the information they need on the website, and based on frequently asked questions data, inquiries and responses can be handled without phone calls or visits, which is expected to greatly enhance member satisfaction.

The AI service will be provided exclusively to members within this year. It will be initially launched as a beta version in collaboration with the Young Certified Public Accountants Association, allowing members to receive real-time answers to accounting and tax-related questions. Incorporating feedback from practical use, the service will undergo advancement and optimization to develop into a highly refined AI service that offers substantial assistance to members.

Chairman Choi Un-yeol stated, "The AI chatbot service is an innovative information delivery channel suited for the digital era and will be a useful tool for both members and general users," adding, "The Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants will lead the digital transformation in the accounting and tax fields and contribute to further strengthening the social role of certified public accountants."
