Jungnang-gu, Recruiting Participants for 2025 'Senior Job Project'

Applications accepted from December 9 to 20 at local community centers or welfare centers
Recruiting a total of 3,580 people for 44 projects including Senior Public Service Activities and Senior Capacity Utilization Projects

Jungnang-gu (District Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) is recruiting 3,580 participants for the ‘2025 Senior Job and Social Activity Support Project’ to support the healthy and fulfilling retirement life of seniors and expand their opportunities for social participation.


This project is carried out by the district office and various welfare institutions in the region, with the ‘Jungnang Senior Club’ operating on the largest scale. The ‘Jungnang Senior Club’ plans to recruit a total of 1,025 participants through various programs such as volunteer groups for public and school facilities and support groups for welfare facilities.


The job project is divided into 44 detailed projects under the categories of ▲Senior Public Interest Activities ▲Senior Capacity Utilization Projects ▲Community Project Groups ▲Employment Support (Employment Referral Type), providing seniors with diverse participation opportunities.


In the ‘Senior Public Interest Activities’ project, 2,793 people will be selected, targeting basic pension recipients aged 65 or older who have the ability to work. Participants will engage in activities such as cleaning and managing local community centers, volunteering at public facilities, and school zone traffic safety, receiving an activity allowance of 290,000 KRW for 30 hours of monthly activity.


The ‘Senior Capacity Utilization Project’ dispatches workers to various social welfare facilities such as daycare centers and youth facilities, recruiting 621 participants. It targets participants aged 65 or older, with some projects open to those aged 60 or older.

Participants engage in 60 hours of monthly activity and receive an activity allowance of 761,000 KRW per month.


The ‘Community Project Group,’ such as working at silver cafes, and ‘Employment Support’ (employment referral type), which connects seniors to private sector jobs like security guards and administrative staff, are also open to seniors aged 60 to under 65.


Seniors wishing to participate can visit and apply at the local community center, welfare center, or the Social Economy Support Center, which is the reception office of the Jungnang Senior Club. Participation application forms and consent forms for personal information can be completed on-site and must be submitted along with a resident registration certificate. Those who wish to work as elementary school meal helpers or senior center helpers must additionally submit a health examination report.
