Gyeonggi Province will hold a Corporate SOS Support Group Forum at the Ramada Plaza Hotel in Suwon on the 12th of this month to discuss the establishment of a ‘Corporate SOS Integrated Platform’ that will provide one-stop solutions to corporate difficulties within the province.
The Corporate SOS Support Group is a working council consisting of policy practitioners from Gyeonggi Province, city and county governments, and related organizations to resolve corporate difficulties. More than 80 officials from the support group, provincial and local governments, and related organizations will attend this event.
At the forum, Gyeonggi Province will introduce the direction for promoting the ‘Corporate SOS Integrated Platform’ and explain its operational system. The new platform, which is a revamped version of the existing Corporate SOS Net, will serve as a one-stop resolution system. It will move away from the previous method where each institution and portal handled issues individually, accelerating digital transformation and strengthening practical corporate support policies and regulatory improvements through data collection and analysis.
Gyeonggi Province plans to build the Corporate SOS Integrated Platform by March next year and begin full-scale operation from November of the same year.
Kim Pyeong-won, Director of Regulatory Reform at Gyeonggi Province, stated, "The Corporate SOS Integrated Platform is Gyeonggi Province’s core strategy to systematically resolve complex corporate difficulties. We expect that through this forum, the effectiveness of corporate support policies will be enhanced and contribute further to revitalizing the regional economy."
