The 'Community Contribution Recognition System' is a program jointly implemented by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea National Council on Social Welfare to discover and acknowledge companies and institutions that contribute to solving community issues. The corporation achieved the highest grade in this evaluation through smooth communication with the local community and continuous social contribution activities.
The corporation is actively fulfilling its social responsibilities through community-tailored social contribution activities such as blood donation campaigns and promoting the Hometown Love Donation System, one company-one village rural labor support, and sharing kimchi-making volunteer activities, as well as creating employee welfare and leisure-friendly working environments.
President Lee Heung-gyu stated, “This four-year consecutive selection and highest grade achievement is the result of the efforts of all employees to coexist with the local community and create social value. Going forward, Yangju Urban Corporation will continue to expand social contribution activities based on local networks, practice ESG management, and grow sustainably together with the community.”
