This donation was raised through a bazaar held by the children belonging to ‘Okjeong Woori Kindergarten’ last October and will be delivered to vulnerable groups in the area through the Gyeonggi Social Welfare Community Chest.

The donation ceremony was attended by Mayor Kang Su-hyun of Yangju City, Director Park Myung-sook, 52 seven-year-old children, and related personnel, who responded with big applause to the children of ‘Okjeong Woori Kindergarten’ for practicing the most precious value in the world, ‘sharing.’

Director Park Myung-sook said, “We prepared the event and donation with the hope that our children would learn about saving and sharing by bringing unused items to sell or exchange, and grow into warm-hearted children who think of neighbors in need.”

Mayor Kang Su-hyun of Yangju City said, “There is nothing more valuable than children learning and practicing sharing from an early age,” and added, “I sincerely thank the director, teachers, parents, and our children who prepared and carried out the event with warm hearts.”
