6th Student Planning Evaluation Group Final Report Meeting Held
Students at Pukyong National University (President Bae Sang-hoon) have identified 23,290 suggestions for educational improvement. The university plans to incorporate these suggestions to enhance the quality of education.
The 6th Student Planning and Evaluation Group at Pukyong National University completed their activities for this year and held a final report meeting on December 9 at the Somin Hall in the Future Hall.
The Student Planning and Evaluation Group at Pukyong National University is a program established in 2019 to allow students, as education consumers, to present specific opinions on overall university education and develop practical improvement measures.
This year, a total of 142 students from 75 teams, including international students from the United States, Myanmar, China, and Thailand, conducted opinion-gathering activities starting in September and presented their findings on this day.
They conducted surveys on 17 questions covering all aspects of education such as majors, curriculum, and academic affairs by interviewing enrolled students individually, collecting a total of 23,290 opinions.
The students cited various courses, active LMS communication, mentor-mentee activities, and the library’s study facilities as excellent strengths, while suggesting the need to strengthen interaction with professors, improve liberal arts and online classes, and implement evaluation methods aimed at practical skill enhancement.
Following the submission of a report containing these interview results and opinions on extracurricular program activities, the Student Planning and Evaluation Group also selected outstanding teams for their final deliverables on this day.
Pukyong National University plans to collect and analyze students’ opinions under the supervision of the Education Innovation Performance Center and use them to improve university education, sharing the results with all members of the university community.
Pukyong National University is holding the final presentation of the Student Planning Evaluation Group and taking a commemorative photo.
