Guro-gu Holds '2025 Hope Ondol Warm Winter Fund Donation Ceremony'

Held on the 10th at the District Office Renaissance Hall... The Korea Senior Citizens Association Guro-gu Branch Donates 1 Million Won in Donations

On the 10th, Guro-gu held the '2025 Hope Ondol Warm Winter Fund Donation Ceremony' together with the Guro-gu branch of the Korea Senior Citizens Association.

The Guro-gu branch of the Korea Senior Citizens Association participated for the first time in the Guro G Festival Food Market held last September and donated 1 million won from the profits earned as a fund for low-income families.

The event took place at 10 a.m. in the Renaissance Hall of the district office, attended by Eom Euishik, Acting Mayor of Guro-gu, Ham Taeho, branch president, and related staff members.

Ham Taeho, president of the Korea Senior Citizens Association branch, said, "It is very meaningful to share the profits earned from the festival," adding, "We will continue to set an example in spreading the culture of sharing as elders of the local community."

A Guro-gu official said, "We thank the officials of the Korea Senior Citizens Association Guro-gu branch for sharing warmth with marginalized neighbors through the Hope Ondol Warm Winter Fund Donation Ceremony," and added, "The precious donation will be carefully used to help those in need have a warm winter."
