"First Step to Rooting a Culture of Respect for Human Rights in the Community"
On the 10th, Shinan-gun, Jeollanam-do, held a special event to commemorate the 76th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
According to the county office, the 'Human Rights Practice Pledge Relay Campaign' held in the first-floor lobby of the main building was conducted during employees' arrival time, providing an opportunity for all staff and early-arriving visitors to share the value of human rights together.

This campaign attracted attention by delivering messages while distributing rice cakes to raise awareness of the importance of human rights throughout society. The 'Human Rights Practice Pledge Relay Photo Zone' set up on one side of the venue caught the participants' eyes.
After signing the campaign pledge and taking photos at the photo zone on his way to work, County Governor Park Woo-ryang said, "Through this campaign, I hope we can once again reflect on the importance of human rights in the workplace and foster an organizational culture where everyone receives equality and respect without discrimination," adding, "Let us all work together to spread a sense of human rights culture and solidarity among members."
This 'Human Rights Practice Pledge Relay Campaign' was an important first step to strengthen Shinan-gun's human rights-centered administration and to root a culture of human rights respect in the local community. It concluded successfully with enthusiastic responses and interest from participants.
