Facebook Message "Promoting Psychological Support Counseling"
Kim Mi-kyung, mayor of Eunpyeong District Office in Seoul, stated on the 10th, "Children wearing school uniforms are being mocked on the streets, and the school buses bearing the Chungam emblem are facing difficulties in operation," adding, "The name of Chungam being used in an act that tarnished democracy has deeply hurt the children."

On the same day, Mayor Kim said on Facebook, "Our district office is taking this situation seriously," and added, "We will ensure that students can receive counseling through the district's psychological support program (Maeum On) and protect the children from external threats through the institution heads' council."
President Yoon Seok-yeol, who was identified as a traitor for instigating the December 3 emergency martial law incident, along with former Minister of National Defense Kim Yong-hyun and Director of the Defense Counterintelligence Command Yeo In-hyung, as well as former Minister of the Interior and Safety Lee Sang-min, are all alumni of Chungam High School. As public criticism against the 'Chungam faction' spreads, the school has been inundated with hundreds of protest calls, and students are suffering from criticism and ridicule.
In response, Mayor Kim met with the principals of Chungam High School and Chungam Middle School within Eunpyeong District on the morning of the same day to identify cooperation measures. Mayor Kim said, "While I understand the anger of the outraged citizens, our anger should be directed elsewhere," and urged, "Please unite your strength toward the epicenter of this anger."
Mayor Kim attended the candlelight rally in Yeouido on the day of the impeachment vote on the 7th and also urged ruling party lawmakers to participate in the impeachment vote.
